RSBV Known as non-contact ball valve, in molecular sieve service referred to as switching or sequencing ball valve, the Rising Stem Ball Valve (RSBV) is used where mechanically-energized metal-to-metal sealing is required, namely in downstream applications such as high frequency cycling and in severe service.
MIR RSBV has a helix stem that opens and closes the valve without stem rotation; a 100% linear movement making it the perfect choice for frequent switching and low-emissions strict compliance requirements.
Plants - Refinery, Petrochemical, GAS processing, PRE - LNG plants, fertilizer plants.
Applications- CO2 Re- injection and removal, Lethal sour Gas, Steam (+600'C), Hot oil, Cryogenic ( -196'C), emergency BDV/SDV, Gas Dehydration/ Molecular sieve
Key Feature- Top entry, single seat design, anti-blowout stem, friction free opening and closing ON/OFF cycles, Self -cleaning when moving from close to open, Low torque operation, Ball and seat metal to metal with satellite overlay, mechanically energized sealing by the helix stem, UNI/ BI directional
Design standard - API 6D/ISO 14313, API 6DSS/ISO 14723 FOR SUBSEA, API 6A / ISO 10423, API 17D 13628-4 FOR SUBSEA
